Highest color resolution that Xvnc supports?

Hi,

Could any one please let me know what it the highest color resolution that
Xvnc server supports? Please refer the attached image of my Xvnc server's
connection info. Could any one please let me know why it is saying depth 16
and 16 bpp? I want to use default server depth how could i do this?
