wt happens after local logging in to GUI

Hi Everybody...

When I install Centos5.x on my system and start the vncserver ..i can't 
get connection from a remote machine(windows or Linux).But if  I login 
once through  the console(locally on the server ) on X can I get the 
remote connections going smoothly.Everything goes fine even after i 
logout or restart the server.I don't have to login bak to X again on the 
console.

Can smone tell me wt actually goes after local login in the X server 
that the connection starts workin.??
.Can we manually do it via ssh or something So that after getting a 
remote server installed i don't have to ask someone to login locally on 
that server on gui.??
