Keyboard Question

I connect to a PC here at work using another PC here at work using VNC
Free Edition. My function keys (i.e. F3 and F4) work. When I am at home
trying to connect to the same PC here at work they do not. I've went
into the Options setting in VNC and my setting are the same. Any ideas?
