Hi list,
I'm having trouble connecting from my Fedora 7 box running the RealVNC
vncviewer, 4.1.2 Free Edition (that "ships with" Fedora), to a recently
installed MacOS 10.5.1 Leopard server. (On the Mac side, I've enabled
"Screen sharing" and test a password to allow VNC clients to control the
Mac.)
I read something about ARD supporting only hextile encoding, so I tried
that (and explicitly disabled autoselect).
I'm prompted for the password, and provide it, but then the connection
is dropped. It looks like the password is OK.
Does anyone have this working? The release notes for VNC Enterprise
4.3.3 list "support Mac OS 10.5 Leopard" -- what does that mean, fixes
in the client? Server? Are they coming to Free 4.1.2?
Log output with maximum debug (100 is max, correct?) follows.
Thanks,
Richard
