John

Subject: First time use problems

We've installed the free server software on an XP box and tried to access it
via the client software from another computer on our LAN using the internal
IP address.

It times out. But I can access the server via the client software from the
server, itself. I can also ping the server from the client computer I was
testing with.

When I use the VNC Network Test, I get a connection to port 5900 timed out.
We do have it forwarding to the server IP address for port 5900.

What's up?

Greg
