can I publish a demo-program in my server using VNC?

We sell educational software. When we demo the software to an institution and they like it, we usually are asked to leave with them a demo for evaluation. This we have do do on a temporized CD, meaning it is the full product but 30 days after installation it stops working.
We would like to install the software in our server, give a prospective buyer a username and a password and grant him/her access to use the software online for 30 days, after which the access rights are deleted. 
Would VNC work for this purpose?
