vncviewer dies of signals from launching unix terminal

Hi,
 
I have taken to launching vncviewer with a funky script bit using rsh to  get 
it off my terminal.  Otherwise, sigint to my interactive processes  kills my 
nohup vncviewer process.  (Sometimes I lose dtwm the same  way.)  I'd say 
vncviewer should be enhanced to stop accepting the  interactive and unexpected 
signals or somehow get off the terminal or its  process group.
