e.g. drag winvnc4.exe shortcut from windows explorer to desktop
(or place in favourites/quicklaunch/Start menu in XP non-classic)
then into the target field of that shortcut's properties put for
example
"E:\Program Files\RealVNC\VNC4\winvnc4.exe" -connect 129.200.9.33:0
where :0 indicatess the port on the remote windows viewer on
129.200.9.33 is accepting on port 5800.

what I do for remote support as you trying to provide is to start a
vncviewer
on my machine in "Listen Mode". then tell them to:
1- Right mouse click the little Vnc icon on bottom right corner of
the screen
2- select add connection.
3- enter my dns address, (or ip-address)
That way they connect to me, and don't have firewall/port blocking
problems.
Additionally, I add an Icon on their screen named "Screen to
Jerry", which
does the connection for them...
