Slow reaction of RealVNC via client

I installed Norton Internet Security 2006 and use FreeSSHd and RealVNC to
enable port 443.

 

With Putty I can easily connect, initial screen updating is much slower than
before (over port 5800, ZoneAlarm instead of Norton and no FreeSSHd).
Screen updating is good (I see for instance some download speeds on the
server change frequently).  The mouse reaction is very very slow when in the
Client I click on applications or buttons or do other things.

 

Any ideas or suggestions?
